HOW CAN I MAKE NAME CHANGES AND DISTANCE CHANGES TO MY REGISTRATION?
Due to the number of inquiries and requests for name changes and distance changes, we have designated a specific timeframe in September to receive and make changes to existing participants of Melissa's Road Race 2013 event.

CAN I GET ANOTHER BIB TAG ON RACE DAY IF I FORGET MINE AT HOME?
No. There will be no replacements made on race morning. No Bib Tag = No Results.

IS MELISSA'S ROAD RACE A FUNDRAISING EVENT?
Melissa's Road Race does not solicit sponsorship dollars.

It is the mandate of our event, to provide for our participants, the very best, hospitality driven, running event in Canada. To that end, Melissa's provides and pays for all the rental items, entertainment, food and beverages, as well as insurance, licenses, t-shirts and cash prizes.

Melissa's Road Race is not a fundraising event but has chosen over the years to donate any profits generated from our road race, back into the community.

WHY IS THERE A CAP ON THE NUMBER OF RUNNERS?
The 22 km has been capped at 1,500 runners because of quotas imposed by Parks Canada and The Town of Banff.

IS THERE A WAITING LIST I CAN SIGN UP FOR?
There is no waiting list because we accept 10% more entries than the quota, to address the no-show factor.

HOW CAN I GET TO THE RACE WITHOUT TAKING MY CAR?

NOTE: Melissa's Restaurant and Road Race are hiring 2 extra buses to make special runs to Central Park. The buses will run from The Voyageur Inn along Banff Ave. Anyone can ride the "Runners Express Bus", just realize that it will only be going as far as Central Park, and then returning along Banff Ave. to pick up more runners.

The Melissa's Runners Express Bus is free. However, if you choose to make a donation, the money will go to the Banff Daycare Society. All runners are encouraged to leave their cars downtown; THERE IS NO PARKING ON THE OTHER SIDE OF THE BRIDGE!
