HOW CAN I MAKE NAME CHANGES AND DISTANCE CHANGES TO MY REGISTRATION?
Due to the number of inquiries and requests for name changes and distance changes, we have designated a specific week in September to receive and make changes to existing participants of Melissa's Road Race 2010 event.  There will be no charge to make changes during this allotted time period.

IS MELISSA'S ROAD RACE A FUNDRAISING EVENT?
Melissa's Road Race does not solicit sponsorship dollars, nor do we hire or reimburse a race director for services.

It is the mandate of our event, to provide for our participants, the very best, hospitality driven, running event in Canada. To that end, Melissa's provides and pays for all the rental items, entertainment, food and beverages, as well as insurance, licenses, t-shirts and cash prizes.

Melissa's Road Race is not a fundraising event but has chosen over the years to donate any profits generated from our road race, back into the community.

WHY IS THERE A CAP ON THE NUMBER OF RUNNERS?
The 22 km has been capped at 1,500 runners because of quotas imposed by Parks Canada and The Town of Banff.

IS THERE A WAITING LIST I CAN SIGN UP FOR?
There is no waiting list because we accept 10% more entries than the quota, to address the no-show factor.
